Get ready for four days of creativity, community, and coastal charm at this hands-on quilting retreat in beautiful Pensacola, Florida! Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just getting started, these one-of-a-kind classes will guide you through crafting stylish and functional quilted pieces—while soaking up the relaxed Gulf Coast vibes.
Each day, you’ll create something special:
May 22: Quilted Slippers
Treat your feet to comfort with handmade quilted slippers! Master easy quilting techniques that can be applied to a variety of projects—pillows, purses, and more. These cozy slippers also make the perfect gift!
May 23: Quilted Ball Cap
Keep the Florida sun at bay with a handmade quilted ball cap! Learn to work with different interfacings and sewing techniques to craft a stylish, breathable cap that showcases your favorite fabrics.
May 24: Quilt Coat
Stay cozy and chic with a quilted coat made to fit you! Bring your quilt squares, a finished quilt, or quilted fabric, and we’ll transform them into a custom coat with pockets, hoods, and binding.
May 25: Quilted Sneakers
Step into style with custom quilted shoes—without the hefty price tag! Unlike trendy sneaker-making kits that require pricey $60+ soles, we’re taking a smarter, budget-friendly approach. In this workshop, you’ll learn a clever hack to create your own comfortable foam soles at a fraction of the cost. Then, design and sew your quilted fabric uppers to make a truly one-of-a-kind pair of sneakers. Whether you love bold prints or classic patterns, your handmade kicks will turn heads!
You will receive a supply list for each class after registration. Supplies required are minimal (fabric and batting, usually), or an optional kit is available to purchase.

With plenty of restaurants and fabric/notions stores nearby, you will be within a short drive to everything you need. We also offer a Shop Hop shuttle service for an additional fee that will allow us to take you to all the local shops while you relax and save the driving to us! This area is home to dozens of antique stores that beckon you to wander and get lost in. There really is a ton to see in this area. The local airport is the Pensacola Regional Airport (PNS). Airport pick up/drop off available for a fee.

Your retreat package includes continental breakfast on Thursday- Sunday, as well as lunch each day! In the evening, we’ll break for dinner so you can explore the local area.
You may choose to stay on site, in one of the three bedrooms, or you may wish to stay off-site at a nearby hotel or AirBNB. Choose your accommodations option at checkout.
Cost: $105 for an individual workshop, or $375 for all four workshops (staying off-site), or $540 for all four workshops (staying on-site)
